I Started wrestling in 2nd grade. State Qualifier in high school at Monticello. Wrestled at UNI varsity for two years. Started coaching as an assistant at Monticello for one year, then volunteered at Marion for two years, coached at Linn-Mar as an assistant for 10 years. Will be starting my 13th year as the head coach at Marion. I have had the honor of coaching several state champs and state place winners throughout my coach career.

I Began wrestling at the age of 4 through the Marion Youth Club. While wrestling for Marion High School, 100+ career wins, 50+ career falls, State Qualifier, WAMAC Champion. Coached the previous 11 years in Colorado. My first 3 years as Varsity Assistant, Littleton High School. The last 8 years as Head Coach, Heritage High School. I’ve had the opportunity to coach multiple boys/girls state qualifiers and place winners. This will be my 2nd year at Marion.

 I’ve been wrestling since I can remember. I wrestled for a few clubs while young, most notably Powerhouse Wrestling Club. I wrestled in middle school and high school for OABCIG. while wrestling, I was a 4 year varsity letter winner, had an overall winning record, conference champion, and district qualifier. Last year I had my first coaching experience as a volunteer coach at Iowa City High where I coached state champions and state place winners. This will be my first year coaching at Marion. 

 I began wrestling in 3rd grade at washington high school and the little warriors wrestling club. I remember dreading practice and competition as a kid, because I was so scared to lose. After 2 years of kids club I stopped wrestling until 7th grade at Vernon middle school. I began to love the sport and lose my fear of losing. From that point on I continued wrestling through middle school into high school at Marion. I wrestled all 4 years of high school and was a state qualifier my senior year. I graduated with the class of 2020. This will be my 3rd year coaching at Marion
